MERRY CHRISTMAS

We had a wonderful, blessed Christmas. It was so fun to watch the boys open their gifts.......they were so spoiled this year, as every year! Jake really enjoyed talking about the Christmas story and baby Jesus. We tried really hard to focus more on that than Santa and he had fun with it. He seemed to really grasp the whole concept and enjoy talking about it. He would see an nativity scene and say, "that baby Jesus is fake! "The Lord has blessed us with another year together with family and we are so grateful! Enjoy are pics....they are a little mixed up, I apologize.
Christmas morning at the Pope house! Look what Santa brought! Jonas ran over to the couch saying "gogo"....that is Jonas talk for Elmo!! He absolutely loves Elmo! It was kinda funny, but they boys were more interested in playing with the toys that were out from Christmas Eve than opening more from us. That probably wont happen next year so it was nice to relax Christmas morning and enjoy the boys.
Jared is very talented and creative with ribbon....and wood!
I dont know if it was the paper hypnotizing him or what, but Jonas could not get enough of Jessicas unwrapped gift, he crawled all over this thing for like 10 mins.....if we all only knew that if we would just wrap an empty box in polka dot paper, Jonas would be perfectly happy, what were we thinking?
This was Maddoxs' gift, but as you can see my boys enjoyed it a little more than little guy did! It was too funny to watch them all more interested in the others gifts than their own.
They boys decided that 45 degrees was nothing to them. Neither one of them has socks on.....I am not sure why that was so fun to them, but it sure was funny to watch!
Happy 1st Birthday Maddox! 12-18-07
Yea that is my cookie he is choosing to eat over cake!!! Yep that is my cookie he is throwing on the floor so he can go back to cake....I dont blame you Maddox!
You even have to share at your birthday......that stinks! Maddox was such a good sport at letting all the other kids (more than just mine) play with his brand new gifts. Prepare yourself for lots of Christmas Pictures are ahead!
Kodak moment with Maddox and Jonas Christmas Sunday.
We were asked to do the advent candle, dont we look festive!? All of the boys got matching rocking chairs from Mema this year! They seemed to really like them.
I have to say that I am proud that my son did not really get the concept of the whoopi cushion and would just squeeze it in his hands, refusing to put it in a chair...I will keep him innocent as long as I can.

Jake absolutely loves anything to do with music and he will ham it up for you and really put on a show, it was really fun to watch his dance moves this Christmas, he has picked up some new ones in the past year!

Maddox was loving all the attention!

What is it about whoopi cushions? Looks to me like Jason was enjoying that sound a little too much!

This was just a whole new expierence for Jonas! He really enjoyed opeing the gifts, his and everyone elses!!
